Seeing Your Congregation with Expert Eyes: Culture, Race, Ethnicity

Janel Curry
Calvin Symposium on Worship 2008

In an update from their Symposium session in 2007, five Calvin College social scientists describe what they’ve learned through in-depth analysis of congregational and worship life. Their goal: to offer you a fresh angle from which to assess and then deepen your ministry. Come to learn what new questions you can ask about the implicit messages your congregation conveys. This session will focus primarily on the themes of culture, race, and ethnicity.
